Roshan Gunga is a graduate of the National Film & Television School (MA) with a mentorship under the Academy Award-winning film composer, Dario Marianelli.

Known most recently for the Netflix documentary ‘Sweet Bobby: My Catfish Nightmare’. Other works include ‘Azaar’, which received a BAFTA nomination for best British Short Film in 2020; Comedy Central’s ‘Drunk History: Black Stories’; and the TV Special, ‘Wild Tokyo’. He has also worked as an assistant for Emilie Levienaise-Farrouch with her music for ‘Rocks’, directed by Sarah Gavron.

2022 saw a step into the world of theatre with ‘Brown Boys Swim’, a play by Karim Khan which won the Scotsman Fringe First award at the Edinburgh Festival Fringe, as well as the BBC Popcorn Writing Award.

Other notable scores include ‘Mother’s Ruin’, an animated musical starring Paul Whitehouse and Jaime Winstone; and a foray into 8-bit music with the video game, ‘Obviously Inappropriate Content’.
